Accessible TicketingHow do I purchase an accessible ticket? We want TK Maxx Presents Bedford Summer Sessions to be an event accessible for all. To ensure we have the correct level of facilities we ask customers to purchase the correct type of accessible ticket on Ticketmaster. The following options are available:

Once you have selected a companion ticket, there will be an approval process. For the approval process, you will be contacted to provide supporting documentation for validation of your request. Accessible Documentation To ensure fans are receiving the correct accommodations and that Free Essential Companion tickets are going to eligible fans, you'll have three weeks to submit proof of eligibility after requesting accessible tickets. What if I need a companion ticket in the general admission or VIP area? If you require a companion ticket in the general admission or VIP area. Please note – if there is a hospitality package of the VIP ticket, there may be a charge for your companion. What is a Wheelchair ticket? The ‘Wheelchair’ ticket is for customers who are attending in a wheelchair or mobility scooter. This ticket allows entry onto the accessible viewing platform which is a raised platform with view of the stage. The accessible viewing platform has a limited capacity and is strictly for accessible customers plus their companions. Customers who have purchased a wheelchair ticket are also entitled to a companion ticket. They will be contacted to provide accessible documentation for a companion ticket. The viewing platform have ramped access, wheelchair accessible toilets, charging points and a member of staff is located on each platform to offer any help that may be needed. What is an Ambulant ticket? An ambulant ticket is for customers with accessibility requirements who need access to a chair and/or a quieter area away from the crowd to ensure a more comfortable experience. Ambulant ticket holders will have access to the Ground Level Viewing Area, where seating is provided. Please note: This area is not raised and is located on grass. Therefore, the ground may have uneven terrain in some areas and could be muddy or dusty depending on the weather conditions. Customers who purchase an ambulant ticket are also eligible for a companion ticket. They will be contacted to provide accessible documentation for a companion ticket. What is a Deaf/Hard of Hearing tickets? Deaf/Hard of Hearing ticket holders can access the general admission area, with the BSL interpreter positioned on the side of the stage. Further details will be included in the access pack. If you need alternative accessible facilities, such as platform access or accessible toilets, please get in touch with us, and we’ll be happy to look into this and discuss further. Arena Accessibile FacilitiesAccessible Toilets Accessible toilets are available at the accessible viewing platform/area and the main toilet blocks within the arena. Accessoloo are providing us with an accessible changing facility which will be available in the accessible area. The unit includes a toilet with grab rails on either side, an electric hoist, and an adjustable high changing table. If you need to use the monitored accessible toilets or the changing facility in the accessible area but do not have an accessible ticket, please contact our accessibility team for further assistance. For VIP ticket holders, a luxury accessible trailer is also available in the VIP area. Accessible Viewing Platform The accessible viewing platform is available for customers with a wheelchair accessible ticket. It is raised platform located with prime view of the stage. There are accessible toilets, and a changing unit located nearby. This area is for customers who require a wheelchair to make their experience comfortable. The accessible viewing platform has a limited capacity and is strictly for access customers plus 1 companion only. There will be charging points for mobility scooters/electric wheelchairs at the viewing platform. Ground Level Viewing Area The ground level viewing area is an area situated directly in front of the viewing platform where chairs are provided. It is reserved for customers with an ambulant ticket who have a specific medical need requiring a more comfortable environment. Please note - this area not raised and is located on grass. Therefore, the ground may have uneven terrain in some areas and could be muddy or dusty depending on the weather conditions. To purchase a ticket for the accessible viewing area please purchase an ambulant ticket. Accessible Bar Lanes Lowered countered bars/accessible lanes are available for all accessible ticket holders and will be situated around the festival site at most bars If a lowered bar counter is not possible, and when appropriate, a member of staff will be able to come around from the bar to take your order and assist you. The Accessibility Map, available closer to the Festival, will indicate the locations of lowered bar counters. I don’t need a wheelchair or ambulant ticket; I just need to access the accessible facilities – what do I do? If you do not need a wheelchair, ambulant or hard of hearing ticket but have accessible requirements that would benefit from the use of the accessible facilities, such as the toilets and entrance – please contact our access team here who can explain further. Chairs Chairs will be provided for wheelchair and ambulant ticket holders. Customers are not permitted to bring chairs into the festival (apart from wheelchairs). This includes the VIP Garden. |
Site DescriptionGround Conditions TK Maxx presents Bedford Summer Sessions takes place on Bedford Park, a greenfield site therefore is relatively flat but does have uneven terrain in parts. The arena features grass and temporary trackway. You can view Bedford Park on Google Maps here: Bedford Park (Summer Sessions) Please note: Poor weather conditions can impact the terrain, potentially making some areas inaccessible for wheelchair users or customers with mobility challenges. Arrival Information Please note, customers with access tickets may enter the site either via GATE A OR GATE C. GATE C is closest to the Accessible car park at The Pilgrim Centre. Please be advised once inside the event to reach the AVP and ambulant area you will need to travel across a grass field which may be muddy or dusty depending on the conditions. Gate A is accessible via hard standing from the accessible car park, however this route is a little further. GATE A is closest to the pick up / drop off area on De Parys Avenue, as well as for anyone arriving from the town centre or on public transport. This route is concrete or hardstanding path and leads directly to the AVP or Ambulant area. Customers using the Accessible Car Park are welcome to enter the site through Gate A if the concrete path is preferable terrain but please be advises this is a longer route. There will be signage and stewards available to assist on the day. Route from Bedford train station/bus station This route consists of pavements and roads through the town, with pedestrian crossings and dropped kerbs along the way. The train station is approx 1.2 miles from the festival. The bus station is approx 1 mile from the festival. |
Deaf/Hard of Hearing FacilitiesBSL (British Sign Language) We are pleased to offer a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter for all TK Maxx Presents Bedford Summer Sessions 2025 concerts. If you require a BSL interpreter, please purchase a Deaf/Hard of Hearing ticket via Ticketmaster. Deaf/Hard of Hearing ticket holders can access the general admission area, with the BSL interpreter positioned near the right side of the stage (customer view). If you are a VIP ticket holder and require access to the BSL interpreter, please do contact our team here and they can look into your request and discuss further. Hearing Loops There are portable hearing loops available at the box office and main bar (please refer to the map above for exact locations). Please look for the Hearing Loop sign to locate the correct area to be in the frequency radius. Hearing aids need to be switched to the 'T' setting in order to convert the magnetic signal from the loop back into sound. |

Accessibility Team, Stewards and Security.Accessible Events specialise in accessibility for deaf, disabled and/or neurodivergent customers at large scale events. They will oversee the accessible area and be available to assist with any queries you may have on the night. All security staff and stewards stationed at accessibility points will be fully briefed on procedures to ensure they can provide appropriate support and information to accessibility customers. |
Strobe Lighting and Special EffectsStrobe Lighting and Special Effects Smoke machines, strobe lights, fireworks and other effects may be in use at this event. The VIP Terrace Accessible FacilitiesRaised deck viewing area The raised deck has ramp access and is accessible for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. PoliciesFood and Drink. There will be various food options available at the festival. If you need to bring your own food or non-alcoholic drinks due to a medical condition or your access requirements, please request this by contacting us here Bag Policy Bags larger than an A4 piece of paper are not permitted. If you require a larger bag due to medical reasons or access requirements, please request this by contacting us here Medication You can bring any medication that you require. If it is not easily recognisable (e.g. controlled drugs, EpiPens) please request this by contacting us here Alternatively, you can bring a prescription with you and speak to a security supervisor on the day. Please make sure you only bring enough for the duration of the festival and ensure you keep it safe with you at all times. Temporary Impairments/Pregnancy Please note that TK Maxx presents Bedford Summer Sessions accessible facilities cannot cater for people with temporary impairments such as broken bones, healing injuries and those who are pregnant. If you do have a temporary impairment or pregnant, please be aware that there will be a lot of walking to get around the festival and not many places to sit. Accessible TravelCar park Accessible parking is available at The Pilgrim Centre, Brickhill Drive, Bedford - MK41 7PZ. This is a short walk to the festival site. It is approximately 200m to the entry gate and 200m to the accessible area. You can book tickets for the accessible car park here All customers will require a valid, in date, blue badge to use the accessible car park. Please note cars are not permitted to stay overnight. Pick up and Drop off The pickup and drop off point is at De Parys Avenue which is opposite the main entrance to the park. This is for all pick up/ drop offs, including taxis, parents, accessibility. It is approximately 500m from the drop-off point to the entrance. Public Transport You can find out more on accessibility on public transport here The train station is approx 1.2 miles from the festival. The bus station is approx 1 mile from the festival. Taxi Fast Line Taxis Fastline Taxis have been providing wheelchair-accessible taxi transport for over 22 years. Taxis can accommodate the different types of wheelchairs; standard chairs, sports chairs, battery powered and mobility scooters.
