Public Transport Info The Piece Hall is located a short walk from Halifax bus and train stations. We recommend you travel by public transport where possible. TK Maxx presents Live at the Piece Hall is just a five-minute walk from Halifax Railway Station, with direct links to Leeds, Huddersfield, Bradford, and Manchester stations. Take a right turn just after the Railway Hotel onto Blackledge. You will then see The Piece Hall South Gate entrance. Where is the nearest bus station? FOOD AND DRINKAlthough you are unable to bring food & drink into the venue, we're certain you won't go hungry with a wide array of food and drink stalls inside the venue offering some of the most delicious cuisines. We have everyone's favourites on our roster and our concession stalls will be offering refreshments throughout the night. Food and drink are not permitted however there are food and drink concessions within the event. Water bottles are not permitted into the event. There will be free drinking water available at the bars for all customers. CAN I BRING A CHAIR?Chairs, portable furniture or inflatables are not allowed into the venue for any of the TK Maxx Presents Live at The Piece Hall Concerts. The concerts are fully standing. This does NOT include wheelchairs. |
CAN I BRING A BAG?Bags larger than an A4 piece of paper are not permitted. Please note - Rucksacks/Backpacks of all sizes are not permitted. All bags are subject to a search so please avoid bringing one where you can as this would speed up your entry to the venue. |
MEDICAL AND WELFAREFirst aid points will be clearly signed throughout the site. You can bring any medication that you require. If it is not easily recognisable (e.g. prescribed medications, EpiPens) please request this by contacting us here Alternatively, you can bring a prescription with you and speak to a security supervisor on the day. Please make sure you only bring enough for the duration of the concert and ensure you keep it safe with you at all times. The Welfare Crew (Events Wellbeing) is here to support anyone feeling vulnerable or in need at the event. Whether someone is affected by substance use, mental health challenges, experienced harmful or unwanted behaviour or is simply feeling overwhelmed by the environment — they’re here to help. The Welfare and Medical Tents are both situated just outside South Gate. The Welfare Tent is staffed by trained, compassionate volunteers who offer non-judgmental care and support until they're ready to re-join the event. They can provide: · A calm, quiet space to rest and recover · Emotional and wellbeing support · Help for those feeling anxious, lost, or alone · Assistance if you’ve been separated from friends or belongings · Support with lost children or vulnerable adults · A breastfeeding-friendly environment · Essentials such as sunscreen, water, earplugs, and helpful information · Sensory equipment to help reduce sensory overload (fidget toys, sensory distraction, ear defenders). You don’t need to be in crisis to visit — if you just need a breather, a chat, or some time out, the Welfare Crew is here for you! |
PROHIBITED ITEMSYour safety at The Piece Hall is paramount and we continually liaise with the appropriate authorities to ensure robust security measures are in place. In order to ensure this is a safe environment, bag searches will be carried out and we may search you, your clothing, or other items. Several items are prohibited, these include umbrellas, perfume/aftershave, glass, alcohol, large cameras, and recording equipment. Any other item which in our reasonable opinion may cause danger or disruption to any event or to other visitors (regardless of whether or not such item is illegal or is carried for specific purposes), any items which a performing artist, their management, or an organiser request that we prohibit.
