When

Gates open at 6pm.

Show times are always subject to change however; we expect entertainment to start at 7pm and finish at 10.30pm.

We would suggest arriving early to soak up the atmosphere.

Child Policy

Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 and over who has their own ticket. Children aged 2 and under can attend for free and don’t require a ticket.

All other children must have a full price ticket to enter the festival.

Certain shows may have age restrictions on the standing area please check before booking tickets.

Prams are not permitted into TK Maxx presents Scarborough Open Air Theatre. 

Is the Venue Cashless? 

All bars and food are cashless.

Our Merchandise stand accept cash and card.

Can I bring food and drink?

Although you are unable to bring food & drink into the venue, we're certain you won't go hungry with a wide array of food and drink stalls inside the venue offering some of the most delicious cuisines. We have everyone's favourites on our roster and our concession stalls will be offering refreshments throughout the night.    

1 x sealed water bottle is permitted per person max 500ml

1 x empty reusable water bottle is permitted.

There will be free water re-fill stations at the venue.

If you have a medical condition, then a doctor’s note will permit diet-specific food and drink only. 

Can I bring a dog?

Assistant Dogs are permitted on site. If you are bringing a registered assistant dog, please do let us know in the accessible requirements form that is emailed to you by Ticketmaster after purchasing accessible tickets. Alternatively, please contact us here  

Can I buy official merchandise?

Yes, if available, official merchandise will be available to purchase within the venue. Customers are advised not to buy merchandise from vendors outside the venue as these are not licensed suppliers and the quality of products cannot be guaranteed.

Are there smoking areas at the venue?

There are three designated smoking areas within the venue. These are located at the North, South and top of the venue.

Unfortunately for Health and Safety reasons, there will not be an opportunity for the general public to leave and re-enter the venue. A strict policy of no re-admission to the venue will be enforced.

Electronic cigarettes are not permitted for use within the venue seating/standing area.

To assist with this, guests who wish to use these devices are requested to do so within the immediate vicinity of the identified smoking areas.

If you smoke in the standing or seating areas or any other area other than the designated places you may be asked to leave the venue. In this event you will not be offered a refund or permitted re-entry to the venue.

Is the event outdoors?

Yes, please ensure you dress for the weather and don’t forget your sun cream!

Can I bring a Chair?

Chairs are not allowed into the arena for TK Maxx Presents Scarborough Open Air Theatre. 

If it rains, will the concert still go ahead? 

Absolutely! Concerts are only ever cancelled due to the weather if the conditions become dangerous. However, you cannot bring an umbrella, so please dress appropriately. The show will continue to go ahead if it rains and there will be no refunds offered should you chose to leave due to weather. The show will only be cancelled or stopped if the weather becomes dangerous.

Do you have baby changing facilities?

Yes, these are located in Disabled toilets.

Do you have somewhere I can leave my coat, bag, camera and umbrella?

We do not have an area for guests to leave coats, bags, cameras, umbrellas or any other items.

Can I apply to be a trader?

You can apply to be a Trader by filling in this form with the relevant information

This will be passed onto the relevant department who will be in touch if necessary.

Can I apply to be an artist?

You can apply to perform at our festival by filling in this form.

One of the team will review and be in touch if necessary.

How can I apply for Charity tickets at my upcoming event?

You can apply for charity tickets by filling out this form. One of the team will review and be in touch if necessary. If you do not hear from us, unfortunately we were unable to carry out your request on this occasion.

Please note that we require a 5-6 month lead in time for our consideration and approvals process.
